Fran & Aatif had a lovely ceremony in Leicester Town Hall. It is a beautiful building with so much character. When we arrived it was raining, but as they say, it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding day.
After the ceremony the rain stopped, giving us the opportunity to take some gorgeous pictures of the newly weds in front of the fountain just outside the Town House.
We then moved onto The Old Stables in Swithland for the couple’s second ceremony to celebrate Aatif’s family’s Islamic background. The beautiful outdoor ceremony was performed by Aatif’s friend and included a beautiful reading.
The couple chose a bright colour theme, incorporating the theme into all the little details of their day including their naked cake, which was to die for. Outside they had lots of garden games to keep people entertained. These were a real hit as, by this time, the sun was out in full force.
Later in the evening Fran’s family’s dogs made an appearance, meaning everyone got to have a chance to get some doggy cuddles, including myself. Their evening had a super chilled vibe. They chose not to have a DJ, but to make their own playlists so that they could put some great music together that complemented the two of them and their tastes.
I loved Fran & Aatif’s venue, it was a beautiful venue and all the staff were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you. I hope I’ll get chance to shoot another wedding there soon.
