Leicester Wedding Photographer
Back in August I got the pleasure of being Clare & Shaun’s wedding photographer at Cattows Farm, Leicestershire at what I can only describe as a wedding extravaganza.
Clare and Shaun were never going to do anything by halves and man was it a wedding to remember.
I arrived at Cattows Farm extra early so that I made sure I could capture all amazing details that Shaun and Clare had spent so much time making and collecting.
There were handmade signs everywhere. Nothing had been left out, there was even a pallet with local taxi numbers on for the end of the night.
The tipi and the tables were beautifully decorated with lanterns and bright colours perfect for a summer wedding.
Shaun greeted the guests as they arrived in the tipi and then as Clare was about to arrive everyone moved outside to the stone circle for the ceremony. Everyone sat on hay bails that had been covered in bright material matching the colourful theme.
Clare arrived in her friend’s classic camper van, which made a grand entrance.
They had a lovely outdoor ceremony including a candle lighting, symbolising the start of their new life together. This was followed by drinks and canapés.
As they had quite a few speeches they decided to do them in between each course. The bridesmaid’s speech was extra fun as they sang and rapped them providing many laughs and a few embarrassing stories.
The amazing food was cooked and prepare by Clare’s nephew Karl Tyler who is a personal chef, the food was some of the tastiest food I have ever had tasted. I would highly recommend Karl if you are after a caterer.
The evening entertainment was just as fabulous as the rest of the day had been. Clare and Shaun chose to do a non-traditional dance including dance moves from the likes of Michael Jackson.
They were then joined by some circus entertainers who had three sets. The first one was stilt walking, then balloon shapes and glass ball tricks and last but not least they did a set with fire, which was just spectacular and an amazing addition to the evening celebrations.
