So Leicester is now officially my second home 🙂 I would say about 70% of my weddings this year are in Leicester and it’s been great to be able to get to know lots of different places within the city.
Last weekend I traveled to the lovely little village of Kirby Muxloe in the west of Leicester, it’s a gorgeous little village with its own castle ruins. It was a beautiful setting for Jade & Tom’s wedding.
Jade and Tom opted for a laid back countryside feel for their wedding. Deciding, instead of a sit down meal, to have a fish and chip van instead, which went down a treat. Their colour theme was based on the country feel using dusky pinks as their base colour for the flowers and their sweet favours.
After the church service the three of us took a quick detour to the stunning castle to get some couples pictures and allow them to spend a few moments together before heading to the party. Their reception was at the Kirby Muxloe Sports Centre, which was great as it was such a lovely day there was lots of space for everyone to spend the evening outside enjoying their fish and chips.
