Last week I had the pleasure of being Donna and Adrian’s photographer for their wedding at The Great Barr Hotel.
It was a lovely, relaxed family day. Donna and Adrian already have children together so it was lovely to get them all involved in the day and their two little boys stole the show as they looked too cute in their suits. Adrian’s two older sons were also groomsman, which made it a proper family affair.
I started off in the morning at Donna’s house with the girls and Donna’s two boys. It was a great atmosphere with plenty of prossecco flowing. Donna’s three bridesmaids were lots of fun and kept everything light-hearted and relaxed.
The ceremony was at St. Margaret’s Church in Great Barr. It’s a beautiful big church and it was filled with all of Donna & Adrian’s friends and family. A harpist played as Donna walked down the aisle and as soon as Donna saw Adrian she said all her nerves disappeared.
We were incredibility lucky as rain was forecast for the whole day but whenever we had to go outside, such as after the ceremony, the rain stopped and the sun came out.
After a few pictures at the church we went off to the reception of the wedding at The Great Barr Hotel for some scrumptious food and the evening party. Their colour theme of blue and sparkles ran throughout. All the sparkles and glitter definitely complimented Donna’s personality.
Children and adults alike could not wait to get onto the LED dance floor and throw some shapes. You could just tell that everyone was having an amazing time.
Both families made me feel so welcome and I felt more like one of the guests than the photographer.
I want to thank Donna & Adrian for letting me be a part of their day. I had a great time and even had chance to have a little dance myself 🙂
